What I am doing to fill the time?Planted a garden Thursday 19 March.
Purchased the following Wednesday 18 March:
4 bags tomato & veg potting mix
1 bag cow manure
1 bag organic compost soil improver
Lettuce varietal, salad - punnet
Baby salad spinach - punnet
Sno peas - seeds
Chives - seeds
Coriander - seeds
It is autumn in Australia, these are cool weather varieties.
The raised garden planter was reused,
but relocated to a sunny position,
the soil mixture added and a hose inserted,
with spray heads, 5, to reduce water pressure and provide coverage.
The planter is covered with shelf glass and watered with a brief spray,
a minute or two is efficient and effective, with little water loss.
