'In
the match played at State Hockey Centre on Mothers Day Adelaide striker
Charles Haigh seemed to be making a play against the odds as the
referees indicating gesture suggests.
The committed valiant shot
at goal was deflected by Goal Keeper Samuel Hockey in a great save that
apparently never was. It nonetheless made a good spectacle.
Burnside was leading 1 - 0 at half time but Adelaide fought back to win 1 - 2.'
